A MEMCOSITE and pioneer staff that transverse three Departments, S&D, Finance and now in CPG. I have a robust pedigree of what typifies MTN and MTNers, which gives me the insights into how to handle MEMCOS activities as a Secretary General. I may not have the magic wands but I promise to raise the bar and contribute my quota in making MEMCOS more transparent in our dealings and accountable to all MEMCOSITES.

 

It is with great privilege I say yes to this call to serve in this progressive and honourable society ‘MEMCOS’. Where collective efforts make individual dreams come alive! The cooperative society offers all willing an opportunity to join efforts with other like minds to collectively achieve a goal which are most times impossible individually. Together with hands joined we have said ‘No’ to an economic hardships unleashed by the global melt down and created a healthy financial atmosphere for MEMCOSITES to leave above the dictates of the present economy. MEMCOS really make things happen!

 

Leadership without service and probity according to Martin Luther King Jr. would amount to tyranny. I promise to make MEMCOS the most responsive and accessible to all MEMCOSITES. I seek your vote for Sincerity of purpose and unblemished records.

 

I see MEMCOS becoming a formidable investment institution “Micro-Finance”. A new level where our contributions can work for us CONSISTENTLY yielding passive incomes and STEADILY creating wealth for all. At this point there is a need to properly position the support frame of the society in order to sustain the demands of this anticipated and sure growth. This is a course we all believe in and this is where I come in humbly soliciting your endorsement with a firm promise to empower every MEMCOSITE with information and administrative support. This will boost membership value and experience, so we can together say MEMCOS really make things happen!

 

·       Leadership and Empowerment: I will ensure clear and articulate communication on MEMCOS roadmap and information freely available to every MEMCOSITE

 

·       Reporting Integrity and Transparency: I would ensure that we don’t have to wait for AGM before MEMCOSITES are acquainted with vital information. And a periodic stewardship account of the serving cabinet will be given.

 

·       The WAO! Experience: I promise to entrench customer focused service delivery in the MEMCOS secretariat that every MEMCOSITE will have an experience to share proudly

 

·       Relationship and Partnering:  I promise to set in motion a Committee that would liaise with MTNN Management, Employee Council and HR on issues that bother on MEMCOS welfare.

 

·       Membership Growth Initiatives: I promise to drive membership growth until every MTNer joins and can proudly say I am to MEMCOSITE

 

I humbly ask for your vote to improve on the status quo. MEMCOS really make things happen!
