MANIFESTO:

It’s true that MECOS has come of age since inception and has achieved a great success, I have been part of the Team that has brought MEMCOS to the enviable position it is today, as the pioneer Vice President, I am at the forefront, especially on welfare and Home Appliance Asset Acquisition Scheme, which has become popular among members today.

As the Chairman, Home Appliance Asset Acquisition Scheme (HAAS) Committee, I championed and coordinated substantial MEMCOS efforts which include:-

· Sales and Distribution of Computer/Laptop to members at competitive rate and unbeatable prices

· Auto-Loan, Acquisition of Car/Jeep by MEMCOS members in a more convenient way.

· Project Leader, in house development and procurement of MEMCOS Software, I also double up as a Technical Director to MEMCOS through experience from IS and Network Group Departments.

· Acquisition of Alternative power Supply in Members home e.g. Inverters, Batteries, and Generators with prompt after sales support.

· Seasonal gifts and Food e.g. Rice

· Car and Computer accessories sales to members.

· Beddings, mattresses and other products delivered to doorsteps of MEMCOS members as far Iseyin, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Kaduna, etc.

· Member, MEMCOS Loan committee, granting an average of =N=420M loan to members Per Annum.

· Member, MEMCOS Building (Yello Estate) Committee

· Etc, etc

Through this experience from MEMCOS, I have been priviledged to serve in an International NGO, YBI Nigeria, chaired by Emeka Anyaoku (former Commonwealth Secretary General) where I was expected to mentor young people in small and medium enterprise (SME) between the ages of 18 – 35 years. It is my pleasure to disclose that out of all pool of Mentors coming from various organisations, local and International, I am the recipeint of the award, The Best Mentor, 2009.

I was introduced to YBI Nigeria http://www.ybinigeria.org/index.php by MTN Foundation.

I intend to leverage on my experience to achieve better things for MEMCOS, for example, how about shopping for everything you ever need through MEMCOS, I mean everything! And at the end of the year, MEMCOS still pays you Dividend from the profits as a shareholder of the commonwealth. We can achieve more of these:-
