My name is Adedapo Banjo, Project Manager – Network and service Assurance, Network Operations. MTN Nigeria.

I hold a Bsc degree in Physics from the University of Ilorin and a Post graduate diploma in Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and many other certifications.

I am a native of Okun-Owa in Ogun state. I speak Yoruba and English Fluently.

 

 It is time for another MEMCOS ELECTION!

The problem is never how to get new and innovative thoughts into your minds, but rather how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.

Becoming an Ex-Officio1 of this prestigious and honorable cooperative society is not a position, but it confers on me a great sense of service and responsibility.

Realizing the purpose for which co-operative societies are being created, it will be important to establish the power behind unity of purpose.

However, a collective plan for a voluntary revolution to address our numerous pressing needs via the formation of business organization that is aimed at solving our Socio-Economic challenges especially in this prevailing world economic crisis is a great achievement.

MEMCOS is financed by members, controlled and governed by constitution, but absolutely driven by passion to meet members’ expectations. This is characterized by given of loans to members based on their contributions, controlled pricing for needed items, assets acquisition and profit sharing to mention but a few.

MEMCOS as an organization is a constituent of willing, determined and focused individuals united and driven by purpose. We voluntarily congregate to providing a lasting solution to our situations by crowning togetherness, freedom of association with great bias for equality, fairness and better life for all.

I am going for the position of EX-Officio1.

If voted, you will experience effective and efficient service, passion driven changes and a brand new cooperative experience.

I have functioned in various capacities:-

·       Two times Public Relation Officer (PRO) - Student Union Government, University of Ilorin.

·       Public Relation Officer (PRO) – National Association of Physics Students (University of Ilorin Chapter).

·       President, National Association of Physics Students.

·       Member, Student Representative Council, University Of Ilorin.

·       Coordinator, Igbobi college Yaba old boys association.

·       Vice President, Rotaract Club, Igbobi College Yaba.

 I will work as EX-Officio1;

1.                            To help improve the feedback processing of members opinion and initiatives by establishing an effective and efficient “Feedback – Action loop”.

2.                            To help improve the effectiveness of our co-operative society by injecting Value Adding ideas that will spur and energize further the commitments of our members.

3.                            To represent members as the image maker of the cooperative society.

4.                            To uphold and defend the tenets of the society.

5.                            To improve the image of the society via creative and innovative media coordination.

6.                            To ensure effective dissemination of useful information within the society by cooperation and progressive administration of the society.

7.                            To help consolidate the efforts of other management committee members to develop, direct and implement overall image branding strategy for the cooperative.

8.                            To institutionalize an “Initiative mechanism” that will help engender life changing ideas to propel the society to greater heights.

9.                            To help strengthen the governance and value system of the society.

10.                       To help ensure precise and timely updates and information on all ongoing and proposed projects of the society.
